It appears that theres be little activity on this board. Lets kick it up a notch. The Navs have a new look and an exciting product on the ice. Although I can only listen in on the live broadcast I am glued to my computer with great anticipation. The Navs launched an incredible effort yesterday against the Huskies and won in overtime. Way to go Navs. A 4 point weekend moves the Navs up in the standings and my guess is the other teams in the League are taking notice. Go Navs :geek:

The OT game was a thriller. It was exciting to listen in on the action. Hoping for a win tonight against Jr Canucks. Go Navs.

I don't think it was postponed. It was forfeited by Slave Lake. This late in the season we wouldn't be able to schedule a make up game.

Another good win last night. No better time to get on a roll. I was not at the game. Any 1st-hand accounts?

It was a really good game. Navs played well in the first and the third period, fell off a bit in the second. A little surprised that there were no fights as there were several DC players that seemed to be wanting to fight all night.
Also one of the best games I have ever seen reffed by a BC ref. It was pretty well called from beginning to end.

Always good to hear a game is being called well. The announcer mentioned,on several occasions, that the DC boys were taking a few runs/not playing smart. He pointed out, in a kinda talking to the Nav player (the new boy on d) kind of way saying don't drop the mitts now, with about 5 to go and a 2 goal lead (I may have that a bit wrong but with less than 8 or so to go in the 3rd).

Getting a home opener is a good way to help the boys make a run. A tall task lies in front of them, but the coach is saying the right things (great post game interview) and seems to be pushing all the right buttons.
